Goals updates 2016 #37 Clare

I don’t know how to follow last week!

Debt management is underway!

I have an exciting project in the works!

Fall is in full swing!

I’ve hurt my shoulders so I’m taking it easy on the sun salutations.

My show opens a week from yesterday!  Check it out: Waste, Fraud and Abuse The Musical

Goals updates 2016 #36 LL

I am so excited for this week! Ok, first September and October are jam freaking packed. There is not a day that doesn’t have a important task. But, that’s what I am excited about. It’s too easy to go “wo is me. I’m so busy….blah blah blah.” Honestly, many of my projects are finally taking off. It’s time to buckle up and enjoy the ride. After October I’ll get to see where they all land. Maybe even sooner.

Business: I’ve got a photo shoot this Friday so I have stock images for my profitablepilates.com blog. It’s time to systemize things and this is one of them. Then another shoot on Saturday. This one will be fun. I have been scoping out some awesome locations. Stay tuned to my Profitable Pilates IG account for these babies. I’m also preparing some major workshops to be debuted on PilatesAnytime.com. Stay tuned for next weeks post as I talk more about that goodness.

Fitness: I’ve got one month to get myself ready for my 4th “The Work” module. This one is a tough one for me. It’s hitting some spots that I need to work on within myself (not just fitness wise). But, this week I am committed to working on it every day.

Finances: We decided to go ahead and just purchase the big last purchases of the year. Flights, rental cars etc for all our holiday travels. Now, we know how much we need to pay off by the end of the year. Much easier than it hanging over our head.

The infamous stomach: well, it’s in process.

Oh, one more thing! I am challenging myself to be clear each day on what my purpose is for that day. What outcome do I want. Eye on the prize my dears!

Goals 2016–#29 LL

As you know last week was a big health goal week. I had only one goal. To do this test. Well, I did my test and am awaiting the results. So stay tuned.

This week I am focusing on just one thing as well. I started out 2016 hoping to get into a special program with my Pilates mentor. I was one of 12 people selected for a year long program. This year my goal was to complete this program, all 4 parts. This week is the 3rd portion. I must admit it’s been a tough section for me. I’ve had to do some major soul searching. I have had to release my desire to be the best, to be perfect and to realize that I am enough.

This weeks goal is to remind myself to be where I am, to soak up info like the best sponge on earth and when the going gets tough to remind myself I am enough. We all our.

Goals Update 2016 #21 Clare

OMG!!! I can’t believe we’re half way through this year.  So a quick look back to begin.  Ok, honestly, I didn’t think I would be as good in some of these areas as I am–fitness, organization, agent.  But I’m kind of bummed about where I am in Finance and my book…

However, the proud is out weighing the bummed!

Finance:

I paid most of my taxes. I’ve started a savings plan for next year.

Fitness:

Still going strong.  Daily sun salutations.  Not gonna lie, some days I’d rather sit on the sofa then do them, but then I think–hey, I can still listen to music or watch tv… and these DON’T take THAT long.

Organization:

Summer clothes are all out, and winter clothes are put away.  UGH.  I need to detox some of the summer stuff.  I’m gonna go with “if I didn’t wear it last summer, its going in a pile.  If I think about it tomorrow, I’ll keep it.  If I don’t, off to be donated!”

Book:

Formatting and making edits from one of my copy editors!

Agent:

Still hoping to book.  Summer is super slow in my business, and in this city.  So I might not have a ton to update here until fall.

Goals Update 2016 #21 LL

Does anyone feel like Holiday weeks are a marathon? I came back from an incredibly inspiring camping trip and then it was 5 days of work shoved into 4 and a huge launch.

Financial goals I’m good. Pretty on track with where I want to be income wise just not where I want to be debt wise. Like I said I’m working on it. In the meantime I’ve gone over the budget and pretty sure I’m just on a mini detour.

Business goals: This week my friend and I launched our Pilates Day Retreats! It was almost a sell out and we announced our next one and have filled it almost halfway in a day. This week I am also announcing my Maui retreat AND I have a secret event I am starting that I will share with you soon. I’m feeling fired up about my business. Lots of plates spinning but none wobbling.

Health: I’m still on the journey to finding a happy place with my digestive system. All tests have either been tested or scheduled. I’ve got a biggie this week. Fingers crossed something helpful comes out of it.

Personal: The puppy keeps us very present. We’ve got a bundle of energy and he’s going to puppy training! Not sure he realizes that yet…

Have an amazing week loves and be sure to continue celebrating our Clare’s bday. All you have to do is open a door for a stranger!

Goals update 2016 #20 Clare

Finance:

I was at my little sister’s wedding last week, so I spent money to travel.  But it was worth it!  She was BEAUTIFUL!! AND it was my birthday this week… so… ya know… I didn’t go crazy, but I wasn’t as good as I’ve been the past few weeks.

Fitness:

You would think that its harder to keep up the fitness while on vacation–I actually did more.  I did a few extra every day in building up to my vacation, and then I ended up doing more on my vacation, too!

Organization:

I’m slowly getting rid of old makeup.  Really–I don’t think you should keep stuff that is old… like years old.  Especially if it smells funny or crumbles quickly.

Book:

I’ve been talking to a lot of people about it lately.  Maybe its the gas I need to get started again!

Agent:

Nothing this week.

Goals 2016–Lesley

I’m literally sitting in the desert at Joshua Tree. I haven’t had a shower since Friday. It’s been an adventure, like any camping trip should be. We rolled in later than expected and had a rough start to our holiday weekend. Coyotes howling and birds squawking combined with the sun beating into our tent to early for two people on vacation. Waking up with a stress hangover from the night before I was determined to get the holiday back on a good foot.

Soooo…I pulled out a legal pad and a pen. I reviewed the work I was doing compared to where I felt I should be. Then I asked myself what I felt needed changing and got honest about a hamster wheel vs a journey. It’s easy and safe in the hamster wheel.
I’ve been working for myself for 6 months. It’s easier to see a bigger picture now that I’ve been rocking my own business. Things I thought might be too big to dream are happening sooner than expected too! So, I get to dream bigger!!! I’m actually super excited to get home. Not just for a much needed shower but so I can get online and start working on my new game plan.
Sometimes things don’t go as expected. Grab a piece of paper and take back control!

Goals Update #19–Clare

Finance:

Its kind of an amazing feeling to not watch your bank account plummet when you decide to try to not spend so frivolously.  However my taxes were finally filed and I owe.  A lot.  And although I saved, I didn’t save enough.  So back to the drawing board.  Someday I hope I’ll get this money thing right.

Fitness:

So I was at an event that had a fortune teller… so I sat down and chatted with her.  She told me, not knowing that I had committed this year to finding an exercise habit that would stick.  She told me that this little change I had made in my life was going to do me really well in the long run–which was the whole point of this goal.  Its nice to know that I have a pat on the back from the Universe.

Organization:

I have a bad habit of just making piles now, and will come back to them later… well… this Saturday was pile day.  I tackled and put away two giant piles.

Book:

I had two people ask me about it… I don’t know why, but I’m waiting on this.  Procrastinating almost.

Agent:

Went to an audition with a big theater company.  Crossing my fingers!

Goals update 2016–#18 Clare

Finance:

I reined it in and saved money this week.  Working on paying off the credit card with the highest interest rate.

Fitness:

Since its warmer outside I’ve been walking to the extra subway stop.  I’ve also walked three times in the part this week.   And sun salutations.  And tap class!

Organization:

Half way through changing over summer clothes and winter clothes!

Book:

NO change

Agent:

no change.

Goal Update 2016 #18 LL

Wow, I cannot believe May is literally halfway over. I have to say it’s been a crazy wirlwind of a month. I have some very exciting goals updates for you. Sadly, I cannot give away lots of details but just know it’s super exciting.

Business: I had an amazing meeting with my team and we are gearing up for some big projects. Our efforts have yielded some great responses. Now, it’s time to start aiming a little higher.

I also have been hoping for 2 huge things to happen. In the last 2 weeks I have received word that both these dreams would be coming true. Something I didn’t even think would happen this year. Just shows everything happens the way it is supposed to. Don’t worry I will share the deets when it is time.

Health: this week is my doctor appointment. Goal get my stomach and my body to work together is still in progress. I am feeling 60% closer to health already.

Personal: My hubby and I have worked hard at tackling our goals together and I am happy to say that our financial goal and our puppy goal are on track!

This week it’s all about follow up! Planting seeds is only good if you plan on watering them. I’ll be doing some watering this week. What about you?
